Yellow loamy sand - Mallee scub
Continuous wheat since 1978. Treatments commenced 1979.
Location: Merredin.
The old cultivation treatments carried out since 1979 were removed in 1987. The trial will continue indefinitely with only burnt and unburnt stubble treatments.
Trial 82M34
Salmon Gum/Gimlet clay loam
Location: Merredin.
Continuous wheat since 1981. Treatments commenced 1982.
Trial 79WH6
Grey and yellow loamy sand with gravel.
Location: Wongan Hills.
Grazed blocks grazed to remove approx. half the stubble.
