Abstract
Considerable areas of rangeland in Western Australia are in poor range condition characterised by the loss of perennial vegetation. This is partly due to uneven grazing by ruminants in large, pastoral zone paddocks. Better paddock designs could improve the evenness of this grazing. This report describes a project that sought to use remotely sensed satellite data to develop grazing distribution models, and to develop these into a convenient form for use by the pastoral community.
