Recognised Biosecurity Groups (RBGs) are community groups established under the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007 (BAM Act). The State raises Declared Pest Rates from landholders in each RBG area, and matches these rates dollar-for-dollar, to fund RBG operations. RBGs report on their performance and expenditure in Annual Reports, which are submitted to the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
