Abstract
This article states the machinery implications of lateral phosphate placement below lupin seed. Placing phosphate below lupin seed has been giving large lupin yield responses in the eastern wheat belt of Western Australia. Attempts to deep place the fertilizer while seeding has given variable seed depth depending on the soil conditions and the depth to the fertilizer.
