Comments

The collection includes four years (2019-2023) of survey data gathered from various locations across five major ports in Western Australia, as part of the project Survey of the Summer/Autumn Brassica Refuges for Diamondback Moth in the Western Region (DAW1905-010RTX). This data aims to predict early-season risks of DBM infestation through observations of the Brassica green bridge and to support the development of a timely DBM infestation alert model. The datasets encompass DBM moth, and larvae count in canola crop fields, DBM presence in Brassica green bridges, infestation timing, crop growth stages, insecticide application data (including resistance details), trapping methods, and conditions favouring DBM moth migration. These datasets are intended to assist growers in making informed, tactical decisions to protect crops from potential DBM damage.
