Abstract
The majority of the erosion has been halted. This has been achieved by the revegetation of erosion prone areas. The regeneration project has resulted in a new vegetative cover being established over large parts of the area. The majority of the area is in very good condition and judicious stocking would do little harm. The management policy for the area up to this stage has been one of total protection.
