Abstract
Brine management from desalination in the Wheatbelt is dominated by evaporation basins, groundwater reinjection, and surface water disposal (Ravisankar, et al 2025). Currently, there are promising alternative brine management options becoming more viable. These options include both brine minimisation and the beneficial use of brine.
