Cover picture: Tim Ealey, of the CSIRO Wildlife Section, is co-author of the article on euro control which appears in this issue. As a hobby he dabbles in oil painting and this month’s cover picture is what he describes as a surrealistic study of Pulcunnah Hill, one of the largest of many granite outcrops on Abydos Station. The hill normally shelters a large euro colony. (Reproduction by courtesy of the Claude Hotchin Galleries)
