Abstract
Shark Bay was inscribed on the World Heritage List in December 1991 on the basis of its natural values. The Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) is the management agency with responsibility for the oversight and development of management plans dealing with both the marine and terrestrial aspects of the World Heritage Area. This Draft plan deals with the management of fish resources in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area which are the responsibility of the Fisheries Department of Western Australia.
