Abstract

The Director of Agriculture (Dr. T. C. Dunne) stated that Caltrop had appeared, both in the Agricultural districts and the metropolitan area.

Although no cases of poisoning have been reported so far in Western Australia, South African investigations have shown that the plant has harmful properties and losses of sheep in New South Wales and Queensland have been attributed to eating it.
