Abstract

Considerable progress has been made in the development and preparations for equipping of the new light lands research station situated some 5 miles north of Badgingarra townsite.

The Minister for Agriculture (Mr. C. D. Nalder), in commenting on this referred to the purpose of the station in investigating the problems of developing and utilising the light lands west of the Midland railway and including those north and south of the Hill River.
