Abstract
Urea, a crystalline compound manufactured from the nitrogen of the air, is used in the U.S.A. as a fertiliser for various crops. It is also used in grain mixtures by- American stock-raisers to fatten cattle in feed-lots, and could become a common supplement in Western Australia where grazing stock live on dry roughage for some months of each year.
