Abstract

WITH the steep decline in wool prices, the need to reduce production costs has become of prime importance and one way farmers can reduce costs is to class their own clips. Classing their own clips improves growers' wool knowledge, and equips them to cull and to select rams more efficiently, in addition to achieving a direct saving of classing costs.
