Abstract
The Beef Carcass Competition which for some years has been conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society on behalf of the Australian Meat Board will again be a feature of the Royal Show this year. Prize money will be maintained at the high level of previous years with £100 and a special ribbon for first prize, £30 for second prize, and £20 for third prize. In addition a special sash will be awarded for the best steer of all entries judged "on the hooks."
