Abstract

Pullorum disease has now been almost eliminated from breeding and hatchery poultry flocks m Western Australia by the annual blood-testing of all birds and the destruction of reactors Only 305 reactors were found in a total of 135,990 birds tested this season—an incidence of infection of 0.22 per cent.
