Abstract
Objective. As a greater number of Hereford cross animals became available, more were included in the weighing groups, and as the grazing of summer irrigated pasture was possible for the first time, a comparison was made of:—
(1) Yearling and two-year-old Hereford cross steers on irrigated pasture.
(2) Yearling Hereford cross steers on irrigated pasture and similar cattle on unirrigated pasture.
(3) Yearling Hereford, cross and yearling A.I.S. steers on unirrigated pasture
