Abstract
The production of fat lambs may be considered to have become a major feature of the West Australian sheep industry in 1931, for it was in that year that lamb production first exceeded the State's internal requirements, and provided a surplus for export. Since then there has been a seasonal export of Iambs every year, mainly to the United Kingdom.
