Cover: The Christmas tree (Nuytsia floribunda) is a somewhat unusual member of the Mistletoe family in that it grows as a tree instead of merely as a a parasitical attachment to the branches of other trees. It parasites the roots of the host plant and its showy orange-coloured blossom is a feature of the early summer landscape. The Christmas tree is seen at its best on the coastal plains of South-Western Australia"
