Abstract
The rules of the Western Australian Pure Bred Dairy Cattle Production Recording Scheme have been revised and are published for the benefit of the interested farmers. The two important alterations are the increase in length of lactation from 273 to 300 days and the raising of butterfat standards of the younger age groups. Owners of all Pure Bred Herds which are test have already been notified of these alterations which became effective from May 1 this year. A number of minor alterations have been made but these do not materially affect the testing procedure or calculation of results.
