Abstract
To the farmer who has experienced losses from entero-toxaemia, footrot, mastitis, or toxic paralysis - to mention only a a few of the conditions which affected livestock disease and he would perhaps be surprised to learn that he lives in one of the healthiest countries for livestock in the world.
