Abstract
All foods for stock sold in Western Australia are required by the Feeding Stuffs Act, 1928-51, to be registered annually with the Department of Agriculture. For the purpose of the Act "Foods of Stock" include stock licks, which in turn embrace all preparations claimed to supply or primarily intended to supply mineral matters to stock.
The registration year for stock foods commences on 1st July each year. When making application for registration manufacturers must submit a guaranteed analysis for each of their products, together with a list of ingredients used in each stock food.
