Abstract
In 1922, at the request of the Secretary for the North-West Department, Gascoyne Location 125 (49 acres) was reserved as an experimental plot for tropical agriculture. In 1932, the area was re-surveyed to take in the portion of an adjourning reserve, bring the area to 64 acres.
